Virtual tour of Bora Bora lagoon

Virtual tour of Bora Bora

The pandemic situation we are going through has a strong impact on the global economy and particularly on the tourism sector, which is suffering from travel restrictions that are imposed by the Governments.

Since July 15, 2020 tourism was admitted as a compelling reason to travel to French Polynesia in order to preserve the Polynesian economy. This is no longer the case today. Thus, many travel plans have been put on hold due to the health crisis. This may have been your case, by the way.

Faced with the prospect of an extension of the epidemic, we, actors of tourism, must be creative in order to continue to make tourists travel. In this context, we worked on a free virtual tour of Bora Bora lagoon.

To do so, simply follow the following steps:

  1. Go to the destination Bora Bora on Google Maps
  2. Activate the street view
  3. Position yourself on the water path by double-clicking the line
  4. Let yourself be guided

Whereas the virtual tour was used as a complementary promotional tool for a site, it is now becoming a commercial promotion tool for the destination. By combining Google Maps and Street View, it is possible to virtually travel a defined route with a precise starting and arrival point. Thus, for those who already wish to have a preview of their next stay in Bora Bora, it is possible to navigate virtually to the four corners of the lagoon.

Enjoy your visit!
